They Like To Hear Themselves Talk

Is it just me, or are others getting really tired of politicians spinning information to make themselves look good? There are so many people that need leaders to get their act together and just do something to help. It so much reminds me of Jesus visiting the Temple and overturning the table of those that were not doing right in God’s eyes. Anyone else feel like it needs to happen again?

Our ministry team works tirelessly from the staff at the point of services to the Board of Directors with one very large focus, doing God’s work to help the less fortunate. Yes, we constantly have others trying to create events, distractions, etc. that will through us out of focus, but they do not succeed. This is a matter of life and death, people need our help and anyone that wishes to try to disrupt this work can not be allowed an audience.

Why do people do this? We wish we knew, but we do know it happens. Many do this out of jealousy, others do it cause they want something for nothing. I get the feeling sometimes that is how politicians and world leaders operate. It’s a “I’ll help you, but what is in it for me?” Really? How sad is this? I’ll tell you what is in it for you.

You can save lives. How is that? No greater love can a person perform than to use his gifts to serve others. Is that the core tenant of who we are supposed to be? Then why in the world do some waste time trying to serve themselves instead of others? Unfortunately, this is human nature and many lose sight of their purpose in life.

We must not allow the communication of greed to overshadow God’s commands to help and use the gifts He has provided to serve others. It a much higher calling and one that the MMI team takes very seriously. This is never about us, our communications are not designed to bring success to the individuals that make up the body of MMI. This is about those we serve, period.

We pray that you will continue to pray for the work of the Ministry, God’s work. We also pray that you will hear the call and not allow the communication of deceit coming from the daily news to cloud your sight on the important work that we have been called to do. It is our calling, our mission, our commission to serve God and those that need to know of His love. It is an honor to serve!

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 118:1
