Giving Tuesday

Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday are all made up retail holidays that try to get people to spend money to generate revenue. A few years ago, the concept to develop a time to help non-profits continue to save the poor was created from this basic premise… Giving Tuesday. MMI has joined in this effort to gain support to equip the Ministry continue to be able to Change Lives.

I love the holidays and enjoy the true reason for the season…Jesus. Jesus gave us the guidance to execute this ministry in service to the poor. Period. In order to do this the Ministry must be efficient, transparent, and have the ability to gain financial support from others to do God's work. Giving Tuesday is a way to bring a level of attention to this work just as the retail world has done for these other events.

We pray that as you enjoy this time with your families, that you will prayerfully consider a financial donation to MMI so that we can continue to reach the poorest of the poor. This is not about raising money for a capital campaign, or a new wing at the local community center. This is about direct services to the poorest of the poor who will be given a chance to live if we can reach them in time!
