Foundation to Impact Lives

The last few years the Medical Ministry International Team has been working to build on the success of the past, but also establish the foundation that will allow the ministry to thrive for another 45 years. This is not an easy process and one that comes with many challenges along the way.

We have been blessed to assemble a team of outstanding people of faith, skill, and knowledge that have over time caught the passion for service to the poorest of the poor. It's important to note that just having a passion to serve with a basic knowledge of service is not all it takes to be successful operating a ministry. This is especially important operating an organization that seeks to provide medical services in the developing world. Small “Mom and Pop” groups can make a limited impact, but for the most part, their work is placing a bandage on a much bigger wound. The importance of developing a seasoned team, support structure, and processes to provide the accountability to ensure success across continents.

This brings us to the process of establishing such a foundation. Ministry work is very difficult and when lives are at stake, its even harder to accomplish down the street, much less around the world. Add in the component of needing to find people to support the effort but also volunteer to help execute your services. These crucial supporters may not have a full perspective on what it takes to operate the ministry, but they have to trust it to be who it represents to be. We must be people of excellence in all we say and do, so that others will join with us to change lives.

We have spent the last few weeks working with our first National Office in Europe, Medical Ministry International Holland and our new official partner in Canada. These offices now provide a triad of National Offices along with the MMI USA National Office to support the International Ministry in a much bigger way. The International Ministry is intentional in our efforts to develop medical services that instill a long lasting footprint that will impact the developing world for many years to come. We are currently receiving 12-15 requests a week from medical facilities and partners that wish to be a part of the MMI Network, but we have to establish the support necessary to continue to oversee the efforts of those that are accepted. The three National Offices are a huge step in our efforts to support the International Team, but there is still much work to be done.

Do you have the ability to help the International Team grow in our efforts? Amazing people are joining with us to spread the message of Medical Ministry International. We are increasing our efforts throughout the world, and need to continue to gain the financial and volunteer support necessary to keep the amazing work happening in over 23 countries around the world. There is an amazing engine built at Medical Ministry International, how about joining with us to help provide the fuel to make miracles continue to happen?
