Do You Hear What I Hear?

The most wonderful time of the year! Yes, we all love the holidays and a time to get together and celebrate the gift that God provided so many years go. The life of Jesus is such an amazing study in all that He provided through His actions and teachings. There is not a time that goes by that you don't get a new perspective as you read the Bible. What is your biggest take away?

The impression that strikes me the most about Jesus is His focus on delivering God's directives on how we are to live our lives. Every teaching, action, etc. is directly tied to this focus. It is a focus that provides the structure around how we are to go about each and every day. We are charged to use our gifts in service to for Him. This includes how we are to treat people, love one another, and seek out the meek and provide them help. It's what drives my life, and the team at MMI.

It's hard to relate into words the ability to see God in action for the less fortunate. It truly is miracles happening before our eyes! This feeling compels those on the ministry team to endure the obstacles that are placed in front of our path, and I can't help but think about Jesus and how this motivation is His gift to help keep us going. Ministry work is messy, but the result of this messy work is nothing short of life changing, not just for those who are served, but the people that are being used to do the work.
