Ever notice how good things happen when good people work hard to make it possible?  We see that regularly at Medical Ministry International, even when we have substantial obstacles thrown in our path, amazing things occur to help remove those obstacles and keep the ministry moving forward in our desire to be God’s hands and feet.  We stand in awe, are incredibly humbled, and committed to continue the work that we have been called to perform.  This isn’t happenstance, we know that God has provided every single blessing this ministry has ever received.  It’s such and honor to serve and be a part of seeing miracles happen every day.

Too often people get caught up in perceptions and lose sight of the amazing things that are happening around them.  We get involved in “getting through the day” and miss what is happening before our eyes.  This is unfortunately very common today with technology, media, etc. taking up our attention.  Distractions are many, and yet if you just take a few minutes to step back and just look, you will see things that you would have missed otherwise.  I would encourage you to try this and just take a few minutes each day and step back and examine closely what has happened in your life that day.  God is at work and all we have to do is look for His hand in our lives.  He is there!

Working in the developing world with people of many cultures, languages, etc. presents many challenges.  We sometimes journey through waters that are unique and rarely traversed only to see God open door after door in our efforts to reach the poorest of the poor.  It has happened multiple times to us on a very regular basis.  These encounters continue to encourage our team and provide the light for us to travel into areas unknown.  You can’t help but get excited to know He is at work and you are blessed to be involved!

Yes, God is at work and He does align the stars how He wants to.  The view is amazing and we must take the time to see what He is doing.  No we will never fully have all the answers, but I can assure you that we see Him at work every single day at Medical Ministry International and what He is doing is nothing short of amazing!  We are missional in our actions and in turn God connects the dots!  Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
