The last few years have been quite the challenge as we begin to position Medical Ministry International for the future.  Operating in over 23 countries is not an easy task, and we are daily challenged with obstacles that must be addressed, corrected, and not lose focus on the goals we set out to achieve.  Such is the journey to address the issues of poverty.

The issues of the forgotten poor are many, lost to many are the need for processes, strategies, etc. that must be in place to optimize resources that are given to help the poor.  Traveling all across the world, I have seen first hand the various examples of well-intended organizations that have sent resources, supplies, monies, etc. to help address a need, only to see these items needlessly wasted or stolen and sold on the black market.  No one has ever sent these types of items with the intent of this happening, but unfortunately due to lack of strategy and planning, the objective of helping relieve the issues of poverty is not achieved.  This is not acceptable in God’s eyes and nor should it be in ours.

MMI is beginning to reap the benefits of our focus.  The enemy continues to ramp up his attempts to derail the effort, and yet we are moving forward and seeing miracles happen each and every day.  It makes sense, the closer you get to doing God’s work, the more that satan tries to ratchet up his efforts to stop it.  He will fail, as this is God’s work and all that we have, all that we do, and all that we seek to accomplish is driven through our reliance on God to provide the light upon our path.

God is in control.  We will continue to strive for excellence in all we attempt to accomplish and give all praise to Him!  It’s an honor to be in His service.

Give Thanks!
