There is just something about positive people that is addicting.  We work with some of the poorest people on the planet, but their attitudes about life are addicting and refreshing reminders of what is really important.  Getting caught up in the daily grind is common, and we all must work to take on every single challenge before us.  A good attitude makes this journey so much better!

My Friend Tom Ziglar (Son of the late Zig Ziglar) recently shared a great quote on this subject:

“Negative people don’t want solutions. Solutions mean they have to work to find something else to be negative about!” – Tom Ziglar

Preach it, Tom!  Life is just too short to get caught up in negativity when we all have been given the amazing gift to live another day.  This is not something that can be stated just in words…we have to live it!  Love life!  Cherish every single moment you have.  The bad is really not that bad and the good is great!  It is such a great lesson that many never come to realize and the team at Medical Ministry International gets to see first hand.  Some people have nothing, and yet they would do anything for you and just thank you for showing you care.  It’s a life lesson that the MMI team experiences on every single program we run.

How’s your day going?  You letting life win the battle and causing you headaches?  How’s your attitude?  Take a moment to step back and analyze the situation.  You have a great situation, you are alive, you have a chance to impact the lives of others, go make it happen!  It really is all about attitude and negativity wins only if you let it.

Positivity is important. How have you tried to maintain positivity during a season when MMI has seen such a dramatic turnover in long term staff and big changes in the nature of the relationship with international partners?

    Hello, Chris!

Change is never easy for any organization. An organization must be willing to make changes when necessary to ensure that the focus is on being who you represent yourself to be. MMI has an outstanding international team and continues to expand its impact throughout the world. It’s easy to be very positive when you see the amazing work and accomplishments that this team delivers regularly.

Does that mean we can rest on our past? No. MMI will continue to work to get better and we are very excited to see all that can be accomplished as we continue to evolve and develop our abilities to reach the less fortunate.

    Thanks for the question!
