Leading in Non-profits and Ministries is very hard.  There are those that feel that the leaders are perfect, should have no flaws, and never make a mistake.  The truth is, Leaders are people too!

Carey Nieuwhof is founding pastor of Connexus Church and a best selling author on a variety of subjects related to growing the church.  He penned an outstanding article that needs to be seen by all who actively are trying to grow the church.  I have shared the link below….

Some Thoughts About The Recent Exit of Two Megachurch Pastors

Leading in Prayer

The next time you see a Leader be open and honest while talking about subjects like burnout, stress, exhaustion, etc.  please know that these issues are real.  These people are flawed, but so am I and so are you!  The courage to be a leader should never be discounted and the toll it takes on all in these positions is real.  They need your prayers, love, and support because they are the point of the spear in the effort to bring love and hope to those that need it most.  It’s a big job, and one that can wear out anyone.

Take a moment to thank your Leaders, and let them know that you are there to stand in the gap for them, just as they are for you!
