There are good times, and yes there are bad times.  Through it all, we must continue to remain focused on the big picture and not lose faith in the journey we have chosen to travel.  Sure this is easier said than done, but the end results make it all worthwhile.

We had an opportunity today to meet with another ministry that is working to address a specific area of disease that Medical Ministry International teams also seek to address.  Why?  Because it’s not about us, but about how groups of like mind can share ideas and work together to eliminate disease and its causes.  There is so much work to be done, but it is a proven fact that individuals can never achieve as much as a group all focused on the end result.

My favorite part of meetings like this is to be able to share with others the challenges and journey that we have been traveling on and it helps us all to realize that we serve an awesome God.  We are not supposed to travel and easy road, but be prepared for the enemy to attack at every turn along the way.  These challenges can defeat you, but they can also make you better.  It’s a journey of faith.  Faith in yourself, and a deep routed faith in God who has given you all the tools to get the job done.  It’s a wild ride, but in the end, He would not have it any other way!  Praise Him!
