We were thrilled to join with MMI Canada last night and celebrate an amazing work of art, done by an amazing lady! Amy Dryer blessed our ministry with “Together” a piece based on the work of MMI. We were so excited to be a part of this great evening! It was great to celebrate the work of the past, now it is back to the work of the future.

Every day, 365 days of the year, there are MMI Teams, Staff, and Volunteers working in 22 countries trying to reach those in need of help. The organization is fluid and must always be at the ready to ensure that our teams are safe, well supplied, and able to do what they are there to do. As you can imagine its a big job and one we take very seriously.

Each country presents logistical challenges that must be handled in a unique way. There are governmental restrictions, rules, etc. that must be known and addressed prior to any execution of Programmatic activity. Rules are good, and meant to ensure accountability, but yes, there are times where these rules seem to come into conflict with the goal of serving people. That is where the MMI International Staff come into service.

Our Staff is focused on assessment, execution, and follow-up to ensure that every gift of service, resources, etc. is optimized to its potential. This includes assessing the needs of those we serve, preparing the team with the information they need to be safe, and also ready to give 100% of their skills into service for the poor. You might liken our Staff to the skeleton of the organization that provides the stability in which the muscle is able to work. Our goal is that every person comes back exhausted, but also filled with the passion that they were a part of something very special.

We love to talk about the amazing things that God has done through this ministry. It helps to take a step back and celebrate His love in action. At the same time, there is much work to be done and it is a task that we have accepted in service to be “His hands and feet” in action for others. We need others willing to join with us to serve. If you have a medical or non-medical skill that can be of service, join us! If you or someone you know has resources, supplies, etc. that can help us do what we do, then please contact us! Maybe you can't join us right now, you can support the work of the ministry so that others may serve for you! Join us in prayer over our team and if possible provide any support you can so that lives can be impacted in a very positive way.

We are already back to work, thanks be to God for the opportunity to serve!
