Many people over the years have come to know Medical Ministry International by going on a medical brigade to serve the poor for a couple of weeks. Short-term trips were the founding component for the ministry, but today MMI is so much more. What may be overlooked is the expansive number of MMI Health Centers and Training Programs that the ministry uses to develop capacity building programs for the long term health of those we serve. Medical Brigades now are designed to come in support of our Health Centers and help us expand our footprint of service.

Currently, Medical Ministry International is in constant contact with organizations that have built or are running medical facilities around the world, but need the expertise to make them function and achieve their desired results. The MMI Network only functions when you have a highly experienced team that can provide the guidance, oversight, processes, and accountability to make this all work. We are blessed to have such a team and the team continues to get even stronger. MMI is no longer a Project Execution organization, but an international organization that is intent on building the medical infrastructure necessary to eliminate the issues of disease in the developing world.

The last 10 days have been a wonderful experience for our team as we added additional expertise and visibility to MMI by hosting our National Directors from our new National Offices in Holland and Canada. It was such a great experience to watch our amazing international team discuss the strategic execution of the Ministry. Our new National Director in Holland, Gerrit Meijerink has a long history of Hospital Administration and Training in both Europe and Africa. Gerrit joins a team with substantial expertise in developing medical programs around the world and the MMI Network will benefit greatly from his addition.

The journey to build this team has been quite a challenge as historic practices are hard to change. The great news is that we have an International Board that saw the need to evolve this ministry into a full fledged international ministry that could optimize the gifts that we receive and help the most people possible. We are already seeing the numbers of people served and helped grow exponentially and it will continue to get better in the months and years to come. God is at work at MMI and we are thrilled to be a part of watching the ministry increase its impact across the globe.

Take a moment to Check out our MMI Health Centers and help support the MMI Network. The return on your gift will be multifold and lives will be changed thanks to your support!
